Wreaths Across America 2021

Let’s join together to lay seven wreaths in the Veteran’s Garden, at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, to show a united front of gratitude and respect across the United States of America as we REMEMBER the Fallen, HONOR those who serve and their families, and TEACH the next generation the value of freedom. Each wreath will not be a decoration. Each wreath will not be here to remember their deaths. Each wreath will be present to remember their lives. Each wreath is a gift of appreciation from a grateful America.

• We will lay a veteran’s wreath in memory of those who served and are serving The United States Army
• We will lay a veteran’s wreath in memory of those who served and are serving The United States Marine Corps.
• We will lay a veteran’s wreath in memory of those who served and are serving The United States Navy
• We will lay a veteran’s wreath in memory of those who served and are serving The United States Air Force
• We will lay a veteran’s wreath in memory of those who served and are serving The United States Coast Guard
• We will lay a veteran’s wreath in memory of those who served and are serving The United States Merchant Marines
• We will lay a veteran’s wreath in honor of the 93, 129 United States Serviceman from all branches of the service whose last known status was either Prisoners of War or Missing in Action. These individuals have never returned to their families and homes. We shall not forget you.

Why We Do The Wreaths Across America At Gate Of Heaven Cemetery

We understand we have Veterans Day in November and Memorial Day in May, but our service members sacrifice their time and safety every single day of the year to preserve our freedoms. In many homes, there is an empty seat for one who is serving or one who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. There is no better time to express our appreciation than during the hustle and bustle of the holiday season.
